Summary:

The EMS Instructor develops and implements all aspects of instruction for Paramedic and/or EMT programs within the Grady EMS Academy.  This position ensures that the department's mission, core values, and clinical standards of care are maintained through the education provided to students.  Coordinates with the Program Director for lesson plans and to ensure timely and appropriate delivery of scheduled education.  Teaches from a  customized lesson plan and assesses student practical skills, provides positive and timely feedback. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 60 college credits or Associates degree in Health Sciences, EMS, or related field is required. 
• Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred. 
• Two years of EMS teaching experience is required. 
• Three years of EMS field experience is required. 
• Current Georgia Paramedic license required.
