EMS Liaison Manager - Trauma Program - Full Time
Summary
The EMS liaison manager is responsible for supporting all major service lines (trauma, burn, neuro, cardiac and any add-ons) within Grady Health System as well as the operations of the Paramedic Communication Coordinators (PCC) and the Regional Communication Center (RCC). The EMS Liaison manager will oversee planning, implementation and evaluation of EMS education and prevention programs. Participates in planning, coordinating emergency medical education, training and outreach as well as provides follow-up information to referring institutions/agencies. Develops collaborative relationships with other departments to facilitate and support quality care throughout Emergency Services and our major service lines. Maintains current knowledge base in applicable areas and pursues additional education, training and experiences as necessary. The EMS Liaison Manager will act as a consultant between the EMS community and Grady Health System by providing follow-up, coordination and data collection for performance improvement initiatives.
In addition, this role will ensure effective staffing and function of the PCC role within Emergency Services and the ongoing operations of the Regional Communication Center in conjunction with the Office of EMS and Trauma.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited paramedic training program and a Bachelor's in healthcare related field required.
- Master's Degree in Healthcare related field preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as an EMT-P required.
- 3 years of leadership experience required.
- Must have Emergency Services - Paramedic Licensure and AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS
- Registered Nurse Licensure and TNCC, ENPC, ATCN preferred.
