The East Point Health Center is currently recruiting a full-time Physician. Located in East Point, Georgia. The East Point Health Center is a part of the Community Medicine neighborhood clinics of Grady Health System. The Physician will provide direct outpatient medical services and continuity of care for a panel of patients in assigned neighborhood health centers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctorate of Medicine (MD or DO) is required.
- Completion of primary care residency program
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred
- Must be licensed by the state of Georgia without restriction to practice medicine.
- Board eligible or certified in a Primary Care Specialty of internal medicine, family medicine or preventive medicine.
- Must become board certified within one year of employment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive, patient centered, culturally-competent medical care. Promotes coordinated care for patients served by the health center.
- Utilizes evidence based, cost effective decision-making process to diagnose and treat patients.
- Communicates plan of care to patients and families in a clear, effective manner, utilizing best practices for patient engagement and comprehension.
- Works to improve the patient experience of care.
- Initiates and clearly documents appropriate action for patients in the medical record based on assessment findings in a timely manner and guides others in this process.
