HVAC Technician

Shift/Schedule: 2nd Shift
Summary: The HVAC technician at Grady conducts maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC/Refrigeration equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They also install new HVAC/Refrigeration systems across client building automation systems and satellite buildings. Collaboration with hospital departments is essential for swift identification and replacement of outdated or damaged equipment to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations. Adherence to safety protocols and regulations during maintenance and repair tasks is mandatory. Accurate record-keeping of equipment maintenance, repairs, and installations is required.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree (Technical Diploma) or 2 years of college coursework in HVAC field.
- Two to three years of job-related experience in the commercial industry.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- State of Georgia HVAC License.
- Valid Georgia Driver's License.
