SUMMARY

The Manager of Infection Prevention and Control, assist the executive director in everyday activities of the department, train new staff, help performing competencies to current staff, policies update and revision, work with the director on ensuring organization is in compliance with JC, CMS, DPH and other accreditors.

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Health or related field
• Master’s degree in Public Health Preferred
• Five (5) or more years’ clinical experience or disease surveillance experience in a hospital setting
• Registered Nurse in State of Georgia
• Demonstrate knowledge of microbiology and infectious diseases with an in-depth understanding of the principles of epidemiology and biostatistics
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
• Knowledge of the CDC, NHSN, DPH and Joint Commission regulations/standards.
