SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator performs the day to day operations of the department, including logistics and administrative functions in a dynamic, team-based environment. This position coordinates business operations, fiscal affairs of department and support of personnel. The Program Coordinator will remotely support Community Medicine Staff in all six health centers and will work directly with the Chief & Deputy Chief of Grady Community Medicine. This role requires flexibility, skills at multi-tasking and must be able to work independently to problem solve in real time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred
- One year experience performing accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing functions, Proficiency with MS Office suite of products
- Ability to pay close and accurate attention to details, Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to meeting the needs of clients and vendors
- Ability to hold information confidential with excellent judgment, Ability to maintain a high-level and strong work ethic in working relationships and all work related duties
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills; must be able to plan and manage projects both independently and with other colleagues
- Demonstrated history of taking initiative and following through on responsibilities
- Strong organizational, creative problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to anticipate needs
- Works with little direction
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred
