Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Retail Pharmacy Technician II prepares, packages, and distributes medications and pharmaceutical supplies while supporting exceptional customer service and pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients at the point-of-sale; collect payments and issue receipts
Accurately prepare daily cash deposits and maintain financial logs
Maintain refrigerator logs and ensure medication storage compliance
Keep the prescription area clean, organized, and audit-ready
Support inventory control by ordering based on PAR levels and conducting monthly medication checks
Transcribe physician orders into patient drug profiles when appropriate
Return medications to stock and update patient profiles
Greet customers with professionalism; utilize AIDET in all interactions
Answer phones efficiently with appropriate greetings and service focus
Assemble prescription orders for pharmacist verification
Assist with process improvements and workflow implementation
Float to other retail pharmacy locations as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program (Preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required
2+ years of pharmacy tech experience preferred
Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician or licensed Pharmacist Intern with the State of Georgia Board of Pharmacy
PTCB certification preferred
