JOB SUMMARY:

The Revenue Cycle Trainer is responsible for the development of training materials, training and development schedules, competency exams, and performance scorecards.  Trains, re-trains, and educates Patient Access employees are critical to reducing claim denials, thus optimizing revenue.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required.  In lieu of degree, the equivalent in training and education experience with a proven success record will be considered is required

  • Two to three years of prior training experience is required.

  • Must have knowledge of computer software, e.g., Word and Excel, as well as Hospital Information/Enterprise systems, i.e., EPIC required.

  • Must possess knowledge of Patient Access, Patient Accounting, HIM, and Epic, and excellent oral and written communication skills required.

  • CPAR Certification is preferred.
