Scheduler/Pre-Access Rep - Vascular Clinic - FT Days

SUMMARY:

Scheduler/Pre-Access Representative schedules all outpatient cardiology procedures and clinic visits within Grady Health System.  Obtains referral and/or prior authorization for all cardiology appointments. Utilizes telephone and internet to obtain referrals and authorization.  Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or GED
• Prior experience in patient appointment scheduling, billing, or experience in health care is required
• Inbound call center experience is preferred
•  Must be able to type 35 WPM
• Clear and pleasant speaking voice
• English/Spanish Bilingual is preferred
• Knowledge of Siemens OAS-Gold/Invision systems, word processing and spreadsheet programs is preferred
• Mon-Friday 8am-4pm
