SUMMARY
The Scheduling Representative schedules designated Primary Care, Specialty/Subspecialty, and Radiology outpatient visits within Grady Health system. Performs the scheduling function in a high volume, fully computerized environment. Acts as a professional liaison for staff, other hospital personnel, medical staff, and physician offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in appointment scheduling, patient access, billing, customer service or health care is required.
- Inbound high volume call center experience is preferred.
- Must be able to accurately type a minimum of 30 WPM.
- Must possess data entry and customer service skills and a clear and present speaking voice.
- Must possess general knowledge of radiological procedures, exam preparations, exam sequencing, and other related functions.
- Medical assistant or CPAR certificationis preferred.
- Billing preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Siemens OAS Gold/Siemens Invision health information system, word processing, and spreadsheet programs is preferred.
