Summary

 

The Senior Respiratory Therapist performs under the supervision of physician orders all respiratory care and critical care functions.  Patient population includes neonates, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. 

 

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registered Therapist credentials by the National Board of Respiratory Therapy. Licensed by the State of Georgia
• Three (3) years of Respiratory Therapist experience (to include ventilation management in a critical care setting preferably on a full-time basis) with a B.S. degree or greater than three years with an A.S. degree
• Computer literacy applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Critical Thinking Skills and the able to communicate with different care providers
• Must have current BLS/ACLS certification required.
