Job Summary

The Sustainability Program Manager will lead and manage the department. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement to enhance the economic opportunities for diverse businesses.

 

Job Responsibilities

Mentorship and Development:

·    Mentor and support social impact initiatives to enhance their capabilities and competitiveness.

·    Facilitate mentorship programs and partnerships between diverse suppliers and internal teams.

 

Data Analysis and Reporting:

·    Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of the Social Impact Program.

·    Prepare and present reports on social impact performance to senior management.

·    Conduct benchmarking and research to identify best practices and areas for improvement.

 

Program Management:

·    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Social Impact program.

·    Manage the certification process for diverse suppliers and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

·    Organize and participate in supplier diversity events, trade fairs, and conferences.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

·    Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, and compliance teams, to integrate social impact into sourcing strategies.

·    Build and maintain relationships with diverse suppliers, industry associations, and advocacy groups.

·    Lead training and awareness programs to educate internal teams on the importance of social impact.

 

Strategic Planning and Execution:

·    Develop and implement the Social Impact strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.

·    Identify and evaluate opportunities to increase spend with diverse suppliers.

·    Monitor and report on the progress of social impact initiatives.

 

Education

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

 

Preferred:

A Master's degree is preferred.

 

Experience

Required:

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sustainability, supplier diversity, community engagement, or supply chain management.

 

Skills/Cert/Licenses

Required:

·    Understanding of supplier diversity principles.

·    Strong knowledge base in sustainability

·    Managing by influence.

·    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·    Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

·    Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·    Strong leadership and team management skills.

 

Preferred:

Certification in Sustainability or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
