Summary:
The Volunteer Coordinator assists the Volunteer Services Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities of planning, administering and evaluating a volunteer program for Grady Health System.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Recruiting, training and utilizing volunteers across the hospital.
· Ensuring that volunteers are adequately trained and oriented to their assigned departments.
· Planning annual volunteer recognition events.
· Running volunteer reports as needed.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED.
· 2+ years of experience in volunteer management in a hospital/health system, business or large non-profit organization.
