Building Maintenance Manager (Crestview)

SUMMARY The Manager of Facilities Management provides residents, families, visitors, at Crestview Health and Rehabilitation Center employees with a pleasant, comfortable, safe, functional, and aesthetically attractive environment. The position is responsible for the management of the Facilities Management department which includes the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of all aspects of facilities operations. Ensures optimal functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators. These functions are performed in accordance with the standards established by Grady Health System, CMS/DCH Standards, Life Safety Code, NFPA, and other accreditation agencies. This position reports to the Executive Director of Crestview Health and Rehabilitation Center and working closely with other department at Crestview.

·       High School Diploma or GED required

·       Prefer Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Engineering or related field

·       Prefer certification in a trade such as Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and/or Plant Maintenance

·       Experience working in facility management with a healthcare care organization and/long term care required

·       Must have a minimum of three years of management experience in a related trade area such as Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or Plant Maintenance

·       Experience with computerized facilities management systems and a strong project management experience preferred

·       Excellent communication skills and customer service orientated  

·       Valid driver’s license required
